Within Project Badass of course we look at diet and exercise. that's a given. But that alone will not get you the body you desire.Â
Here is what else we focus on...
Lifestyle. Everything starts with the quality of your lifestyle. You can diet and exercise but if you are not getting enough sleep, burnt out, stressed, eating rubbish, drink too much alcohol and living a sedentary life. This needs to be address.Â
Hormones. Once your lifestyle is cleaned up, your hormones will be steadier which will mean you feel better and reduce perimenopause symptoms.
Mindset. Are you are someone who believe they lack willpower or motivation? Do you find yourself self-sabotaging? Or struggle will emotional eating? This is a big part of Project Badass. I help you stop these behaviours.Â

Helen 42, decided to take action as she wanted to get in shape and feel fantastic for her wedding wearing the dress of her dreams which was going to be in 17 months time.Â
Having struggled with her weight for a while, like many women Helen had tried various diets and whilst the had worked temporarily, nothing seemed to stick and the weight always came back, usually because those diets were unsustainable in the long term. This time she wanted it be different.
I put a plan of action together for Helen that was specific to her around her diet and weekly exercise regimen. She was actually surprised at how much food she was able to eat, it didn't feel like a diet!
Helen resistance trains four times a week and focuses on hotting her daily step target. So far we haven't added in any cardio and she's remained consistent over the last 10 months.Â
Of course there have been challenges along the way with holidays and trips away, night outs and celebrations, as well as operation and 6 week recovery time. All of which I worked closely with Helen to help her navigate and get through without it having a negative impact on her journey.Â
10 months in and Helen has lost over 25KG, dropped a number of dress sizes and her confidence has sky rocketed! Had you of asked Helen back at the start of her journey if she would do a Fitness Photoshoot she probably would have laughed. Now she is wearing crop tops and completed not one but two photoshoots!

Like you, I am a busy woman in my 40's. I'm also a wife and a mum to two grown up daughters. Plus a needy dog mum!Â
It was my own fitness journey in my twenties that inspired me to leaving my 9-5 office job and become a Personal Trainer. The impact my journey had on me was so profound that I knew other women needed to know what I had discovered.
I've been a Personal Trainer specialising in Female Wellness for 18 years now, and I love helping other women take back control of their health and fitness.Â
