How the 8 Week Shred works
A plan of action
The 8 week shred removes the confusion around diet and exercise regime by giving you a clear plan of action for both so that you are crystal clear on what you need to do in order to see results using proven methods that have helped hundreds of women achieve results! These plans will be personalised to you, designed around your bodies needs, your lifestyle and your goals.
Progress check-ins
To ensure you are seeing results week after week, your progress will be monitored by myself. You will be required to complete a check-in that looks at various progress markers and not just the number on the scales.
Once you have submitted your check-in, it will be reviewed and I shall deliver you feedback along with making any adjustments needed to your plans
Accountability & Support
A big part of your success will come down to having the right support. With the 8 week shred you will have the support not only from myself as your coach, but also the wider 8 week shred community.
If you have ever tried to diet before you will know the the challenges of staying committed to your fitness goals whilst navigating the stressors of every day life which can cause your motivation to dip and willpower to break. This is were the 8 Week Shred will provide you with the accountability and support you need to help you navigate your life whilst staying on course towards your fitness goals.
5 Key areas of focus 🎯
AREA 1 - Your diet
Your diet will play the biggest part in the results you see. Therefore, a significant amount of focus must be applied here. How much food you consume in term of calories and macronutrient, they types of food you consume and making sure you are able to eat in a way that you find enjoyable so that you are able to be consistent and stick with it.
AREA 2 - Exercise and activity
The purpose of the 8 Week Shred workouts is to build muscle. The more muscle we have the better as it increases our metabolism which can a positive impact on burning body fat and hormonal balance. And of course if the goal is to look good then and have curves in all the right places, then building muscle is how you will achieved that "toned and sculpted" look
The other factor we pay attention to is your overall activity levels. Life can be sedentary so monitoring your general activity output by means of daily step count can help to ensure you are expending more energy and thus burning more calories.
AREA 3 - Lifestyle choices
Seeing results doest just come down to a diet and workout plan. There are other lifestyle factors to consider that can cause hormonal imbalances and when that happens it can make your fat loss journey harder. We will look at your sleep, your rest and recovery, your stress tolerance and inflammation caused by alcohol and processed foods
AREA 4 - Progress
The aim of the game is to have you seeing results and is at the core of the 8 Week Shred is that accountability and support every step of the way. Whether it's through your progress check-ins with me or being supported in the community, this gives you the best of both world of 1:1 online coaching and group coaching.
AREA 5 - Mindset and behaviour change
You can not have a physical transformation without having a transformation of the mind. Firstly you have to be open to a new way of doing things as you learn how to eat and train to see results. Secondly we breakthrough beliefs and old habits that are not helping you reach your gaols. So if you've ever struggled with yo-yo dieting, self sabotage or emotional eating (most of us have) once you learn to break free of these it makes the journey s much easier.
